Do you want to catch that summer vibe? Look no further! Southside Recordings proudly presents Marcus Sjöstrand and the pop-beat ‘Where The Hurt Got No End‘. The song is full of energy and is inspired by U2 and Swedish House Mafia, a combination that creates a flawless harmony between guitars and choirs that will make you listen to the track over and over again.
The producers explains how the song was born:
‘We came up with the hook for the chorus and that sounded more like EDM House, so we had to find a way to combine the two different ideas into one. More guitars and a more rock sounding kick drum mixed with typical Swedish House Mafia-like lead synths. We were surprised by how well Rock and EDM go together. Perhaps it’s because of the same energy.
Then came Marcus Sjöstrand and his vocals glued the pieces together like magic’
The powerful beat is produced by Nina Åkerlund and Raffe Bergwall from Brave Music Sweden.
Vocals by Marcus Sjöstrand, known from Melodifestivalen and on guitar Niklas Rollgard.
Get those dancing shoes on and catch that summer vibe!

From the land of wine, good food, beautiful women and romance, Southside Recordings proudly presents Pol Ayke. He’s a 29 year old DJ and producer from Paris, but he gives us a track well fit to be played at the French Riviera and the well known small island outside the coast of Spain called…….Ibiza, yes that’s the one, the dance music crazy island in the Mediterranean Sea.
Talented Pol Ayke, returns to Southside Recordings with a massive release! This time with a darker deeper sounding track, called ”Skyce”. Pol Ayke gives us some insights, into what to expect from “Skyce” “was produced during the season of spring, thinking of the coming summer heat, the icy drinks and warm sun to the skin. All these pictures in my mind was elements that inspired me to this, fresh, dark and deeper sexy sound”.
Pol Ayke is right and we couldn’t agree more. This track breathes dark long Ibiza night’s combined with ‘Skyce’. We love it! Hope you do too…
We are happy to welcome Swedish DJ and producer Földes back to Southside Recordings.
“Red Room” is a energy driven Progressive House track. That Is built around a dirty pumping bassline and a well placed vocal chop. Add to this the catchy synth lead in the building break, that is gliding between the notes.
This well arranged 5-minute trip is as Földes himself put it, crafted in his “Red Room” studio. We can only imagine what will come out of this “Red Room” in the future! The impact on the dancefloor is a given, as all at Southside HQ believe!
Let us all start to use Red Room paint!

DJ/Producer Alban Berisha from Kosovo returns to us for his phenomenal second release on Southside Recordings. Engraved in this track is a unbelievable driving bass line, gorgeous melodies, and crispy big synths. This is all intertwined with a bewitching atmosphere. We’re delighted to have such forward-thinking, state of the art progressive artist on our label.
Get ready for the hypnotic sound of ”Alban Berisha – 24CET”.
In the middle of 2014 we released ‘Welcome To Malmo’, a feel good house track with saxophones and a funky bass line by Martin Eriksson & Freedah Soul. From the beginning we knew this track was something special, and it turned out to be one of our most successful releases so far! It spread all over the world, ended up on different lists and was placed on one of Swedens most known charts called ‘Digilistan’, which resulted in plays on Swedish national radiostation P3.
Two years later it was time to let some creative artists make their own interpretation of the song and create their remixes, together with a fresh re-mastered original.
Martin Eriksson says: ‘Wow I can’t believe how good the remixes turned out to be!
It’s so cool to hear your own track turn in to something completely different from what you had in mind when you wrote the original. Me and Freedah Soul are really proud that these artists wanted to remix our song and we look forward to spread the ‘Welcome To Malmo’ song even more!’
From a modern Drum & Bass-ish remix to Tech House, Progressive House you name it, this remix pack gives you a broad variety of sounds and styles, we are very proud to give you the ‘Welcome To Malmo’ remixes and remastered version.
Mark Voyst is a aspiring producer born in 1990 that is living his dream of producing music. At an early age, like most youths in the 90’s, he got exposed to Daft Punk’s magic and after seeing David Guetta, Joachim Garraud and Antoine Clamaran Mark started to build his own beats. Mark gets his inspiration and dedication from the White Island of Ibiza and the productions of Hardwell, David Guetta, Laidback Luke and Fedde Le Grand.
Mark’s first release on the Swedish imprint Southside Recordings is called ‘Libra’. Libra is a progressive banger aimed for the arena crowed.
Mark says: ‘I started working on Libra just after my birthday. At the beginning I only had the idea of the breakdown and then I decided to make a powerful groovy drop. Why the namne ‘Libra’? I decided to choose a name connected to my birthday.’
Swedish dance-music producer Matt Hewie have reached fantastic success with earlier releases like Bird, All We Have and The Moose. The last one have streamed over FOUR million times on Spotify and reached several Top 20 positions including World Dance Top 30, iTunes Dance Chart and Scandinavian Dance Chart.
Together with B3TA, that took the whole industry by storm through their own successful version of Kim Cesarions ‘Undressed’, they’ve remixed a whole lot of different artists.
This is their second co-produced original track they’ve done together. Now with the powerful vocals from Jonny Rose, released on the Swedish imprint Southside Recordings.
With previous documented support from the likes of Tiesto, Steve Aoki, Judge Jules, David Guetta, Alex Gaudino, VINAI, Chris Kaeser, Antoine Clamaran, Eric Morillo, Marco V, Tritonal, Markus Schulz, Ron Carroll, Dj’s From Mars, Juicy M, Tristan Garner, Stonebridge, Pedro Del Mar, Marcus Schossow and Joachim Garraud we hope this one truly blows peoples minds and climb charts worldwide!
With his nine impressive releases/remixes on our label, Danny Thorn is no newcomer to Southside Recordings.
Danny Thorn – ‘I believe that the longer you have been into making music, the more effort you want to put in every track. You always put up new goals and want to deliver a package, as good as possible.’

Pol Ayke says: It’s a great pleasure coming back to Southside, the music I sign with them is always special and means a lot to me. This track was made with inspiration from my nostalgic young memories, holidays with my family when I was a child and youth memories with my best friends. It’s an ode to the beautiful places in the west coast of France, the atmosphere has inspired me so much during all my life. Just by creating this song, it feels like I’m going back to my roots.

Stranger as the track is called, will not be a stranger among djs and other music lovers around the world…
The successful track ‘Headstrong’ by Southside House Collective & Martin Eriksson feat. Jonny Rose received a massive support from artists and radio stations around the world, for example plays on Blasterjaxx ‘Maxximize on Air’ podcast and chart positions on the Swedish national chart P3’s ‘Digilistan’ (consisting of the most popular tracks in Sweden).
Now it’s time to give you the remixes…
Agravic, the Swedish duo that continuously delivers high quality tracks perfect for the dance floors. No exception this time, they made a powerful remix with melodic breaks and massive drops.
Gaspar, the Greece’s most funky house duo. When you listen to their disco interpretation of Headstrong, we promise you will not be able to keep your feet’s still. The funky house is back!
Danny Thorn, the Swedish artist whose melodies is the sound of pure love. Danny takes the listener on a journey through space and time. Perfect tempo, perfect melodies and a perfect remix.
Mike Jolly, are you a fan of funky bass lines? Then the remix of Mike Jolly is right for you! This will be the djs weapon to bring the right feeling to the party.
Alban Berisha, a modern sound, an original melody, a remix with a mix between pop- and club music. Powerful drums and powerful melodies, this goes out to all the commercial house lovers!
Southside Recordings are proud to present the remix release of the Headstrong hit and we have only one thing to say, these remixes are just what the original deserves!
DJ/Producer Alban Berisha from Kosovo returns to Southside Recordings with a beautiful piece of art, a progressive house tune called ‘Love Without Limits’. This feel good track is inspired by Alban’s love for Trance music and artists such as Armin Van Buuren, Serge Devant, Pryda among others. Alban explains that by playing many gig the last few years he got into the musics more deeper melodic sounds and trancy vocals.
We asked Alban how this track came to life, Alban explains ‘Firstly I received the vocal from Juliet Lyons for a completely different EDM track I made, but when I heard the vocal I completely changed direction and went for a more progressive trancy sound. The vocal from Juliet was so inspiring and relaxing and I really enjoyed working with it’.
After remixing Martin Eriksson’s ‘Goodbye’, Alban was really satisfied with the work Southside Recordings did and now he looking forward to release his original track on the label.
We welcome Alban Berisha and are looking forward to hear what the future has to bring.
Music transcends the spoken word so it can be understood by all, no matter which part of the world they come from.
It is truly a universal language.
Rhythm, melody and harmony blend together to produce sounds and colours, vibrations and frequencies.
This is an EP that speaks for itself without words.
The third track Soundsmagical, is based on the hypnotic sounds of quartz singing bowls.
Listen to these three tracks and you will fully understand that music really is Louder Than Words.
Once again Southside House Collective team up with Jonny Rose.
You may wonder who he is? Well, sit down and shut up – here we go!
Jonny Rose is a Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter and producer.
As a vocalist he has collborated with DJs such as Laidback Luke, Vicetone, Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman and many others.
Jonny has appeared on releases from Ultra/Sony, Universal, Warner, Virgin/EMI, Armada, Mixmash, Monstercat, Kontor, Black Hole, and Silk Arrival. His songs have been supported by Tiësto, David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, Hardwell, Dash Berlin, Nicky Romero, W&W, Above & Beyond, Gareth Emery, Chuckie, Adventure Club, Ferry Corsten, and Wolfgang Gartner.
Satisfied? No. Because now it’s time to get up from the chair and turn on the music.
The track is called ”Come Back to Me”. It’s a melodic tune, with pianos, a chorus that will leave you humming and lots of harmonies.
To please all clubbers out there, with less vocals and more energy, Southside House Collective made a Club Mix. It’s packed with a huge amount of drums, a big portion of sidechain and a completely new, crazy, distorted, almost gitarish sidechained lead.
Oh.. Sorry, now you can sit down again. Satisfaction needs a rest.
By now, you most likely know Gaspar and their killer recipe of funky house! Gaspar consist of 2 djs/producers located in Thessaloniki, Greece, DJ Kid Stretch & 70th Floor. If the economy in Greece would be as good as Gaspars music, we would probably be asking Greece for a loan.
Gaspar – At Midnight is a masterpiece that won’t disappoint you. Its bongo clashing rhythmic sounds, inspired by the organic house sound, makes it impossible to keep your hips from moving. At Midnight is somehow simple but still amazing with the funky bassline-hook combined with the ‘wah wah’ guitar and a well laid vocal. This track brings us back to the 70’s discos,
Pol Ayke, the man behind ”Love”, returns to Southside Recordings with a massive release!
This time with a track called Legend of Vedra,
Pol Ayke says: ”It’s an ode to the Ibiza Island, the energy and the atmosphere inspired me so much. Creating this song was an awesome pleasure and I want to share it with you”.
Pol Ayke is right and we couldn’t agree more, this track breathes Ibiza and house music and we love it!
Gaspar (we still don’t know what that means) is all about disco.
Their previous track ”Spooky” had lots of horns and that typical 70’ies feeling.
Hold Me is still disco, but this time they have implemented some analog classic synths.
”Sexbomb” by Tom Jones immediately comes to mind, but instead of his fat voice,
Gaspar uses a ”big, fat mama”. At least it sound like that 🙂

REBECCA & FIONA
